Re: Boxing Day / NewYear's Day Attendances

Good numbers for Ilson...at Matlock! over 900, That used to be solid numbers in the Conference and it's predecessors...many years ago. Equally, we know too well, Ilson can do that...and grow.

On topic, I'm more with 'silverfoxx' - but can mybe see the wood for the trees. I do not do any wider social media than a football website forums..

Early doors today, I did start a lengthy answer on the key thread... but lost it... I'm a geographical outsider, so very much appreciate the care and attention from the efforts of Whiteball and Matchman... I do not do wider social networking - and rarely look at the ITFC site (until today). It oes though definately need history and a bit historical passion and love of the club ( through all it's evolutions) to work better...(?). I'm also not sure they deliver what you guys do...?

So, I do broadly agree with 'Silverfoxx' - but it seems to me that Matchman needs to enjoy a game with no obligations... Also, WhiteBall just needs to plough his stats furrow... But both still to selectively share.

How about the half-way house..?

With no comprehension of what is involved - keep the WBP 'BRAND'. Then do what the official site is slow at... for me, that's mostly everything... ? A WBP website - with ITFC Latest News; Non-League News; Forthcoming Match News; You guys do all this already... Also thinking Players:Then and Now stuff - but again it's on White Ball already...

Obviously, less interactivity is key - but maybe not none...? Just concentrate on some key factual/opininated themes? I'm thinking maybe more of an officail website support (BUT with loyalty and historic depth...). Not sure how things work, but (you do write this already), it could include form /odds for the next game... and pre-history of that fixture (unique to WBP), also the latest CLUB news (ins and outs). The same for a  Non-League News sector... You could also add history and player stats/transfers and links.... 'Players Then & Now', and, who knows, the two current guessing games as 'Prediction' threads...?

All of these key themes, with a logged-in feedback/comment option that needs to be tagged to the main theme..? Is that do-able...? Who knows. CLEARLY NOT ME!

What do I know about the compexities... I'm thinking less 'forum' more wider ITFC themed info based website - with some feed-back opportunities... (cut to the cloth to suit what you know here...)?

For now, given 'our' numbers, WBP does feel like a personal service - which is special. Obviously, I am geographically exciled, but also a few in the handful of us are still working and also exciled from games... Maybe, it's more about the overview than the match reports...? One could maybe even work on a 15-minute update and enjoy the game a bit more... Matchman...?

As above, I have yet to do any wider social media networking other than website football forums, so you remain a big part of my matchday experience... But surely we can ppobably all see the writing on the wall...? A  WBP middle-ground would suit me.

Thank you.
