Tuesday night Football (14 Jan 25)

.
Tonight's scheduled fixtures:
FC United v Gainsborough
Audrey Hebburn v Morpeth
Matlock v John Prescot Cables

Hebburn can draw level on points with Ilkeston if they win their game in hand tonight against Morpeth.
Hebburn have lost only 2 of their 11 home games at but Morpeth have a decent away record.
Why are Gainsborough doing so well in the FA Trophy but not so well in the League? (no wins in their last 4 league matches)
In form Matlock (unbeaten in six) will move up to 11th if they beat Prescot. Not a bad recovery considering they were bottom after 11 matches.
Cables (no wins in their last 8) need points otherwise they'll wind up relegated

Re: Tuesday night Football (14 Jan 25)

.
Morpeth's win at Hebburn was a good result for Ilkeston.  Hebburn are 6th with 3 points less than Ilkeston now having played the same number of games.

Gainsborough's FA Trophy run seems to be hindering their playoff chances. They could only draw at FC United and are 14 points behind Ilkeston with only 4 games in hand now.

Matlock stretched their unbeaten run to seven matches against Prescot Cables who are in the relegation positions, one point below Bamber Bridge but with a game in hand.

Unlucky Alfreton lost to a 90th minute decider by Brackley after clawing their way back to 3-3.

NPL East Division leaders Belper slipped to a 1-0 home defeat against North Ferriby. That was a good result for Cleethorpes two points behind Belper and now with two games in hand.
