NPL Match Predictions 18th Jan - There could be some surprises 

Ashton v Whitby  home win
Whitby are no pushovers but Ashton are one of the most consistent performers in this league so I don’t expect them to slip up.
FC United v Blyth  home win
I might have gone for a draw but FC United drew their last match and they never get the same result in consecutive games
Gainsborough v Macclesfield   away win
Not a forgone conclusion but I think Macc will be too strong for Gainsborough
Guiseley v Basford   draw
I have a sneaky feeling Basford could surprise Guiseley and take a point.
Hebburn v Hyde   home win
It’s a chance for Hebburn to put distance between themselves and Hyde. Home advantage should see them do it
Ilkeston v Morpeth   home win
After losing to Leek, Ilkeston need to win this one especially as they have no match the following Saturday and could fall out of the playoff positions
Leek v Lancaster   home win
I expect Leek to continue their resurgence with another win
Mickleover v W Rylands   draw
If Mickleover lose this one they’re really in relegation trouble
Prescot v Worksop   away win
Worksop should win but Prescot are desperate for points
Stockton v Bamber Bridge   home win
Stockton are unbeaten in four, Bamber Bridge haven't won in five 
Workington v Matlock   draw
Workington are too close for comfort to the drop zone but they have a decent home record and could end Matlock’s 7 game unbeaten run.
