    Wednesday Night Football (29th Jan)

    Just one match in our league but it's an important one as Stockton are one place below Ilkeston

    Stockton v Leek 

    By freak of chance this is Stockton’s 5th consecutive home game. A Stockton win would put them only 2 points behind Ilkeston and keep them very much in the race for the playoffs. (Stockton is the only side Ilkeston have not played yet)

    Leek are unbeaten in their last six matches including a 5-0 win against  Port Vale in the Staffordshire Cup last time out. Despite their recent remarkable upturn in form, Leek are still only just above the relegation places so they will be desperate to keep their undefeated run going.

    Just looking at our league table. It'so ridiculously tight with only 3 points seperating nine teams between 9th (Hyde Utd) and 17th (Whitby).
