There are two matches in our league tonight. Both are significant for Ilkeston .
Blyth Spartans v Stockton
Prescot Cables v Warrington Rylands
Stockton have a big opportunity to go four points above Ilkeston when they travel to basement club Blyth Spartans.
Warrington Rylands can move to within five points of Ilkeston if they can win at Prescot Cables. Rylands are ten games unbeaten and are now looking like very serious playoff contenders.
On 12th October'24 Rylands were bottom of the table with 7 points from 11 matches. Since then they've amassed 30 points from 16 matches. (By comparison, that's 4 points more than Ilkeston over the same period)
Stockton should win at Blyth but Rylands won't find it easy at Prescot who are strong at home and have lost only twice in 13 games (P13, W 5, D6 L2)
