Personally I would prefer Guiseley to go up for the reason that I'd rather go to Worksop next season than Guiseley. Worksop is nearer to us and are more friendly rivals than Guiseley.
Ilkeston's results this season against Worksop and Guiseley:
home : Ilkeston 3 Worksop 0 away : Worksop 2 Ilkeston 0,
home : Ilkeston 1 Guiseley 1 away : Guiseley 1 Ilkeston 1:

The League have taken a lot of criticism regarding the charge against Stockton and the subsequent delays. To be fair the League has to act in a proper manner and follow strict procedures which included giving Stockton the opportunity and time to appeal. Someone was saying why couldn't the Final be delayed until the following Saturday. Mark Harris of the League replied that any delay would in turn delay the release of next season's fixtures. This is because when the allocations have been made, which takes time, teams have the right of appeal if they don't like the league that they have been allocated. It all takes time. Fixtures for each league are done in a strict order once all appeals have been dealt with.

Possible playoff rivals next season following this season's playoffs
This afternoon it's the NPL Payoff final between Worksop and Guiseley. Whoever loses stays in the Northern Premier League and will be a favourite to finish high next season
Also this afternoon it's the Southern League Premier Central playoff final between Kettering and Telford United. I think one team may be moved from the SLPC to the NPL and If Telford lose, there's a chance they may the team due to their northerly location. But I reckon Stamford or Spalding are more likely)
Likely to be joining us in the NPL next season
Warrington Town
Farsley Celtic
Widnes
Cleethorpes
Stocksbridge
Plus one other
Could be :Stamford, Spalding, or Telford (if they lose their Play off final toay)
I think Hednesford are likely to go into the Southern League because of their southerly location. Promoted Quorn are more northerly than promoted Hednesford

I’m watching the play off final on ClubberTV

Got to say the viewing quality on ClubberTV is poor. The picture is jerky and I've had to turn the commentary off because the sound keeps going on and off so you can't tell what the commentator is saying.

Worksop lead with a goal scored 3minutes into added first half time but it's been a game of few chances.

Clubber wants £10 a week off me so I’m listening to the radio if I can get it to work!

Congratulations Worksop.

Worksop win what I thought was a very poor game. Guiseley only woke up for the last 10 minutes and Worksop weren't much better.
In the Southern League Premier Central Playoff Final it ended: Kettering 2 Telford United 4

So the unpleasantness at the end from the casual idiots from Guiseley! Funny they always raise their heads in May.

Can't help thinking that an In-form Stockton would have given them a sterner test but Yes, Well done to Worksop. They finished 2nd with 83 points so they deserved to be promoted.
For us It's another short destination away journey we've lost in addition to Basford, Mickleover and Matlock
So as it stands our nearest matches are at Leek (40 miles) and Gainsborough (48 miles)
Promoted Stocksbridge Park Steels will probably become one of our nearest destinations (52 miles)
Farsley Celtic are hoping their ground will be ready next season. Last season they used Buxton's ground.

No local derbies : So gate money likely to be down and travel costs up.
But a few new grounds to go to for me. - Widnes, Warrington Town, Farsley Celtic
Roll on next season and another push to make the playoffs

Widnes were playing at the Rugby League ground and Warrington Town is a ground I visited many times when I lived there and it is still out of town in Stockton Heath next to Manchester Ship Canal. Farsley have been sharing at Buxton but if they survive they may be back in Leeds!

Farsley have been having problems with their pitch havent they? They are hoping to get back to their ground ready for next season
