Just found this in the WhiteBall archives:
****************************************************************************
2018-19 Attendance Statistics in the MFL Premier Division
Team Lowest Highest Average.
1 Ilkeston Town 393 1587 662
*****************************************************************************
Since then our official average attendances per football web pages have been :
2019-20 NPL South East N/A (COVID affected season)
2020-21 NPL South East N/A (COVID affected season)
2021-22 NPL Midlands Div (promotion season) 1012 (Highest: 2428 v Halesowen)
2022-23 Southern League Premier Central 750 (Highest: 1320 v Rushden & D)
2023-24 NPL Premier Div 729 (Highest: 1360 v Basford)
2024-25 NPL Premier Div 610 (Highest: 987 v Macclesfield)
It's sad to observe that our attendances have now fallen to a figure lower than six years ago when we won promotion from the Midland Football league
Increases in the cost of living has taken its toll and watching live football has taken a hit. And this is despite us playing at a higher level and having a successful team.

It's sad to see those numbers...
The club haven't done free admission games for a while, that may bring a few in.
I personally haven't been to as many this season as the football hasn't been great. The flowing, and often breathtakingly brilliant, football of recent years has been more pragmatic imo.

Not good seeing these figures but there are some factors with the main one being the high cost of living now . People are struggling to have the spending money in what they had years ago so things like a local football match gets put on the back burner.
I have been guilty this season in not going to as many games i would have liked but i hope to get to more games especially at home ...

A different between £5 or £6 to get in to £13

That's true... I remember now, it was dead cheap at one time.
