Striker Tunde Owolabi has joined Warrington Rylands following his departure from National League North side Radcliffe. Owolabi boasts a wealth of experience in the Northern Premier League from earlier in his career, notably helping Radcliffe to promotion to the Northern Premier League's top division in 2018/19 then scoring 35 goals for FC United of Manchester the following season. Such form earned the Belgium-born forward a full-time move to Scottish side Hamilton Academical for an undisclosed fee in the summer of 2020. He went on to spend time in Ireland before returning to the Northern Premier League ranks in December 2023, signing for Macclesfield. After the Silkmen failed to earn promotion that season after losing in the play-off final to Marine, the 29-year-old joined National League North side Southport but soon returned to Radcliffe, where he spent the remainder of last season. He will now link up with a Warrington Rylands side that finished in the top half of the Northern Premier League last season, ending the campaign 13 points adrift of the play-offs. # Owolabi becomes the Blues' first summer signing, although the club did also hand new deals for next season to a number of their existing first team squad back in March.
