Hednesford Town are one of the favourites to win our league next season but before last season's promotion they were teetering on the edge of going bust.

Immediately after the two covid affected seasons, Hednesford finished 9th in the Southern Premier Central

The following season (2022-23) they finished 20th and were relegated to Step 4 (NPL West Division)

Season 2023-24 they again finished in a relegation position but they must have been given a reprieve. 

Season 2024-25 under new owners they were promoted to Step 3 NPL Premier after finishing 2nd and winning the playoffs.
