Warrington Town have confirmed the departure of nine players, as part of a summer overhaul following relegation from the National League North.

Among the players leaving is experienced central defender Peter Clarke, who spent two seasons with the club and made 77 appearances in all competitions. The 43-year-old, who spent much of his career in the Football League before making the move into non-league, is also closing in on 1,000 games as a professional player.
Versatile defender Ollie Southern, midfielder Mikey O’Neill and forward Joe Rodwell-Grant have all left the club after just one season.
Mo Doro, Dana Amaral and Devarn Green have also departed, having been mid-season additions as the club sought to avoid relegation.
Aaron James and Lee Williams are the final two to leave. The young defender and forward spent the early months of 2025 on loan at the club from Wrexham and Stockport County respectively.
Just three players have agreed terms for next season - goalkeeper Dan Atherton, who was already under contract, right-back Murphy Bennett and young midfielder Sam Gill.
Several other members of last season's squad remain in discussions with the club, including captain Josh Amis and long-serving defender Evan Gumbs.
