I read somewhere we also have a game away at Flint Town United who I think are still managed by Lee Fowler and have Elliott Reeves up front!

2025/26 Pre-season Schedule Announced

Our pre-season preparations begin with a friendly at home to Eastwood CFC on Saturday 5th of July. The Microlise New Manor Ground will host five pre-season fixtures in total with general admission priced at £5 and Under 12s free.Our pre-season schedule in full:
- Saturday 5th July – Eastwood CFC (H) – 3pm
- Saturday 12th July – Harrogate Town AFC (H) – 2pm
- Tuesday 15th July – Kimberley Miners Welfare (H) – 7:45pm
- Saturday 19th July – Carlton Town (A) – 3pm
- Saturday 26th July – Flint Town United (A) – 1pm
- Thursday 31st July – Chesterfield U23s (H) – 7:45pm
- Saturday 2nd August – Basford United (A) – 3pm
- Tuesday 5th August – Derby County U23s (H) – 7pm

Lee was our manager when we won promotion back to step 4 winning 8-1 in the final game at Loughborough University. We were level on points with Walsall Wood and he didn't want them to know how we were doing so match updates were banned in the first half. But we led by 4-0 at half time so Lee relaxed the ban and allowed match updates to be posted in the second half.
Lee drove to away games by car and was always first to arrive. When the supporters coach arrived he would be there waiting.

Not our preseason games but kinda related ...
If you want to see some extra footie at the Microlise New Manor Ground, don't forget that we've got a ground share with Heanor Town until the work at their ground has been completed.

Chesterfield U21s - Wednesday 9th July at 7:45pm.
Mansfield Town U21s - Wednesday 16th July at 7:45pm
Rainworth MW - Wednesday 23rd July at 7:45pm.
These games don't clash with any of our preseason games.
They've also been drawn at home to Dudley Town in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round. This is due to take place (depending on our fixtures - and we're due to play Basford away on this date) on Saturday 2nd August.
