Not sure how the Welsh Premier League works because Flint played against some opponents more than others

In their previous pre-season friendly Flint overcame Avro FC of the Northern Premier League West Division by 1-0 at the Essity Stadium.

Avro finished last season in 7th position, 10 points behind Vauxhall Motors who took the final playoff place

The team bus hits the road on Saturday 26th July en route for the Welsh town of Flint for our 4th pre-season friendly.

Kickoff has been put back an hour to 2pm. So is the bus leaving time still 9 am?

I should get an answer tonight and when I do, I'll post it on here.

We’ve gone through passport control and we’re in Wales.

Arriving at Flint Town United ground now.

We asked Lee Fowler what level the Welsh Premier League is? He said the top team who win all their matches are probably Step 2 level and all the other teams are equivalent to our step 3. In other words our opponents today, Flint Town United, are at a similar level to Ilkeston.

No Logan green today?

Good run by Brandy earns a corner. Marshall header is blocked.  Then a good run by Daniel. Youmbi takes a knock but no foul given.   It's getting physical.       0-0.   20 mins

Flint no.4 injured after head clash with Walker.  It's hard for the ref with both sides going in hard. Deaks is having plenty to say.     0-0.   27 mins

Deaks kicks the boarding in frustration and gets a yellow.   Great ball from Daniel to Brandy but his cross is cleared. Dorian Sulkowski wins a corner but it's wasted.  A lot of added time due to the numerous stoppages.

Walker shot pushed round the post.

Chance for Flint but Marshall intervenes. What a shot by Youmbi but it's inches wide. Kirby-Moore fouled on edge of area.  Plenty of action now.       2-0.     61 mins

Flint's  No 2  is injured but Ilkeston keep playing and Trialist is foiled by keepers save. Stevens booked for shirt pulling.  Kirby-Moore brought down right on edge of area and central.  It's a big chance for a 3rd goal.  Walker shapes to take the free kick before leaving it to Stevens. Stevens effort is on target but Flint's keeper produces a fine save.         2-0.     72 mins

Ilkeston well in control now.  What a goal by Harvey Kirby-Moore in off the post   Out of nothing he fires home from outside area, leaving the keeper watching it in disbelief.     4-0     81 mins.
