After their 0-0 draw with FC Hartlepool Alnwick will be hopefully getting back to knocking in the goals when they entertain Sunderland West End on Tuesday night. West End had a very strong finish to last season but have so far not carried that for into this season. I am predicting a 3-1 win especially id strikers Euan Potts and Jamie Clark are available for selection.

It’s Alnwick Town 3 Sunderland West End 0 at the break with two goals from top scorer Ruan Potts and a fine goal from Shell. Alnwick are in control and fully deserve their lead. West End looked a bit disheartening as they trudged off at half time! Can’t see them coming back in to the game but they can’t be much worse. To be fair Alnwick have the players who were missing on Saturday back and the team is at full strength with Eggleston and Bright dominating proceedings as wing backs! And then there is the goal machine that is Pottsy!

West Rnd have pulled one back it’s 3-1 now. West End have been much better this half and Carr has had to pull off a number of great saves so far!

Alnwick have five substitutions and have started to regain control of the game.

Alnwick Town are again sitting top of the Northern League Division Two table on a Wednesday morning. It is unlikely the Wick will be still be top by ten tonight but overall it has been a very promising start to the season.
