Well whats the odds on this game being nil nil draw ? Prescot played two , drawn two , goals for NIL goals  against NIL 

Training last night was not too strenuous following the Tuesday night Gainsborough match and in preparation for the Prescot Cables fixture. Dylan Youmbi looked sharpest when it came to finishing. Colin Daniel must have picked up a knock because he sat it out but Robbie Fox is now training with the others. Sam Parker also took part. He told us about the injury clash at Morpeth. Sam said that he got his head to the ball and it was the Morpeth player who made contact with him. He may have to miss out again on Saturday while his head wound heals. Chris asked the other Sam (Essien) if he was okay and the reply was "I'm never injured". 

Two games a week at the start of the season means the whole squad are involved. We weren't at our best against Gainsborough but it wasn't for lack of effort. Deaks will be expecting a positive response against a defensively mean Prescot Cables who haven't conceded a goal yet but Saturday could be the day that Cables unwind and shots fly into their net.

Not expecting a high scoring game but you never know. Surely Cables can't keep a 3rd consecutive clean sheet. I'm thinking we can bounce back from Tuesday's defeat with a narrow win.
We very much need to avenge two very exasperating results against the electric Cables last season. They came to the NMG and pinched a very lucky draw after Harvey Kirby-Moore had given us a lead. Earlier in the season at their ground, Colin Daniel was sent off after 21 minutes and we were beaten 3-1.
