    This is a big test for Ilkeston against one of the league’s better sides.

    Ilkeston have won their last four and Rylands are unbeaten in their last five.

    Rylands are currently 2nd in the league table:  P13, W6, D6, L1, F 21, A15,  Points 24

    Their only defeat was against league leaders Lancaster.

    Rylands have always lived in the shadow of the other Warrington team ie Warrington Town.
    But last season Warrington Town were relegated and now both teams are in the Northern Premier. 
    Warrington Town have a nice ground. The same can't be said for Rylands.


    But this match is at the NMG and Rylands away record so far this season is:
     P6,  W2,   D3,   L1,   GF4,  GA4,   Points 9

    They don’t score many and don’t concede many.


    Ilkeston v Rylands last two seasons :

    Last Season 24-25 we beat Rylands home and away
    29 Mar 25         Ilkeston 2  Rylands 1
    23 Nov 24.        Rylands 0  Ilkeston 1

    In Season 23-34 Rylands beat us home and away
    27 Apr 24.         Rylands 2  Ilkeston 0
    11 Nov 23.         Ilkeston 0  Rylands 1

    I remember them having a tall bald headed centre half which marked TC out of the game 2 seasons ago.
    Then if I remember right he left to go to marine. Which in turn saw rylands have a poor season last year
    I hope he hasn't returned for this season.
