Alnwick Town travel down the A1 to Hartlepool today looking for another three in their promotion push this afternoon. Alnwick bear Durham comfortably last week but came unstuck against First Division Shildon in the League Cup. The Wiick went two down early doors but fought back to equalise only for Shildon to progress 4-2. Alnwick lost to the same opponents 6-0 last season so the result is a measure of the progress Richard Latimer and his squad has made this season.
