    Score Updates from the six matches tonight

    After all the snow, six out of the seven scheduled fixtures in our league tonight have been given the go ahead. The only one not to be played is Cadbury v Littleton. Four of our promotion rivals are in action. 
    The six games being played are :

    Coventry Copsewood v Atherstone
    Heath Hayes v Brocton
    Hinckley AFC v Coventry Alvis
    Pershore v Bolehall
    Racing Club Warwick v Chelmsley
    Walsall Wood v Lichfield

    I think the backlog of matches which most clubs face has something to do with tonight's games going ahead. The pitches must be very wet following the thawing of the snow. The heayy pitches could cause some of the better teams to underperform but I can't see any of our four rivals not winning.

    Two good results for Ilkeston tonight .   Atherstone losing at Coventry Copsewood and Racing Club Warwick being held to a draw  by Chelmsley.

    We can now leapfrog Atherstone and Leicester Road to second place if we win our game in hand. Hinckley's big win has boosted their goal difference and they can go second if they can win their three games in hand. Racing Club Warwick can go second if they win their six games in hand.  So at the moment It looks like Walsall Wood will finish top followed by  Racing Club Warwick, Hinckley, Ilkeston, Atherstone and Leicester Road. But things can change in a crowded final two months of fixtures. It would  be surprising if Racing Club don't drop several points because of their backlog of games.
