Next league match is Warrington Rylands away. Not one of my favourite grounds but we won there last season by a Jamie Walker goal.

Their USP is having live entertainment playing in the clubhouse on match days.

They are currently 4th and have only lost one match at home. Surprisingly that was against Whitby.

Rylands home record : P14. W 8. D 5, L1. F26. A14. Pts 29

Rylands average attendance so far is 600 but that figure is distorted by two Bank Holiday attendances against Prescot Cables (1052) and fierce rivals Warrington Town (1924). Normal attendances are around 450.

It’s a really tough ask.

Rylands have always been the second best team in Warrington behind Warrington Town. But after Warrington Town's relegation last season, they are now playing at the same level. At the moment Rylands are higher placed but Town have the greater support and a far superior ground.

The three rows of seats in the stand at Gorsey Lane are low level so not giving the best view

Warrington Rylands 1906 Football Club was formed as a local wire works team in 1906 as part of the Rylands Recreation Club whose clubhouse and grounds sit on the eastern side of Warrington at Gorsey Lane.

It would be nice to end a winless run of away matches that stretches back to 1st November when we won 4-0 at Stockton. Since then we’ve drawn 3 away matches and lost 4.
