    Montel Gibson

Very sad to hear that Montel Gibson has left the Club. I was proud to be his match day programme sponsor.
Montel is a gifted footballer with exceptional skills and some of the goals he scored for Ilkeston were memorable. Also he was a very decent person; always modest, well mannered and friendly. Good luck Montel wherever your future takes you.

    Re: Montel Gibson

My two favourite Ilkeston goals this season were both scored by Montel Gibson and both were headers: the goal at Heather St Johns that put us 2-1 up against to run of play and the equaliser against Walsall Wood at the NMG.  Both these headed goals were influential and were delivered with precision accuracy.
