Re: Tuesday night football (3rd Mar 2026)

I will be at Alnwick Town v Park View which will be my first game of 2026 at the real St James Park due to the weather and my Judith Chalmers escapism!

It’s 0-0 at Alnwick who are playing fifth place Park View off the back of four straight defeats!

Still 0-0 here at Alnwick on 40 minutes. Not a bad game despite the score line!

Re: Tuesday night football (3rd Mar 2026)

Hat-trick for Zak Goodson tonight in the 4-4 draw between Bury Town and Quorn. That's 18 league goals already this season and he's still only 25. Wouldn't mind seeing him back at ITFC.

Re: Tuesday night football (3rd Mar 2026)

.
Hebburn 3 Stocksbridge 0
Hebburn end their winless run (4 draws and a defeat to Ilkeston) and go top with 2 points more than Hednesford.
Back to back defeats for Stocksbridge stalls their bid to avoid relegation.

Cleethorpes 0 Whitby 3
Didn't expect that result as Whitby had gone six games without a win
Cleethorpes (one win in their last six matches) drop to 15th

Re: Tuesday night football (3rd Mar 2026)

Alnwick Town drew 0-0 with Sunderland’s Park View. Sounds dour but it was actually an entertaining game with an errratic referee! A nailed on penalty for each side not given and some industrial strength tackles going unpunished.
A good point for the 472 crew after a string of heavy defeats!

Dunno about that mate , when he's against the bigger lads he's not so good.  I can remember at Radcliffe one their big lads shoulder charged Zak , he went flying . Didn't see him after that , got substituted ...
