We now come to the last match of the season and it almost seems an irrelevance after lifting the Derbyshire Senior Cup.

There’s nothing riding on the result now as FC United can no longer win automatic promotion and they are guaranteed home advantage in the playoffs but it would be great to end the season with a win and finish as high as possible in the league table.

its a bit of a downer now with the last match as in like you say nothing to play for now for FC UTD . Surely they will be putting out a weaker team on sat ready for next Tues ?

Interesting lineup today. Apparently the players drew a number out of a hat after training on Thursday. Apart from goalkeeper - Deaks made sure Matt Yates got the Number 1.
