Warrington Rylands ground move planned

Rylands are one of the best teams in the Northern Prem but their current ground at Gorsey Lane is one of the worst in the league.
We are pleased to announce that we have secured land for the future home of Warrington Rylands FC.This achievement represents an important step in the club’s continued development and is the result of years of hard work, commitment and collaboration.As the club continues to grow both on and off the pitch, securing this site provides a platform to enhance our facilities, support our football ambitions and strengthen our contribution to the local community.We remain focused on building a sustainable future for the club and creating opportunities for future generations of players, supporters and partners.We look forward to sharing further updates as the project progresses.

When I lived in Warrington in the mid 1980s Rylands were a works team who played at a low level. One of my workmates played for them and they were a typical amateur team in the day. They have come a long way since as have Warrington Town and both teams still have to compete with the Rugby League team. I am sure there will come a time when both Warrington may have to consider combining.
