Again I will be hoping to cover games at Alnwick Town this season. Like Ilkeston they have had a change of manager and as a result a change of playing staff. I have only seen thirty minutes of the second half of a freindly defeat to Whitley Bay 1-4 but it was a typical pre season freindly played in intense heat on a bone hard pitch. Alnwick kick off their season much earlier than Ilkeston so I should have an idea if they are going to be contention this season or not fairly quickly!
