Thanks Matchman!
I will be very pleasantly surprised if we get something from today's game. I can't believe can play as bad as they did last week. Their manager gave the impression that he would sorting a few motivational issues in midweek. On a more positive note nobody gave them a chance last week and looked what happened. So come on boys and surprise us yet again!

City will definitely want to make up for last Saturday's setback and this time they will be well prepared. This will be a real test for our players and It will take a monumental effort to get any sort of result. It's 5 minutes to kick off.

It's mostly Salford in the early stages but Ilkeston keeping them out so far. One chance so far for Ilkeston, Udoh firing too high. Salford on top as expected. 15 minutes gone.

Williams looks on form for Ilkeston when they go forward. Despite Salford's dominance Hannis has been well protected by Ilkeston's defenders so far. Williams goes really close following an Ilkeston breakout on 23 minutes.
Offline
Williams chance gives Ilkeston some confidence and they have their best spell of possession so far. Spoke too soon, Salford's Hine misses a sitter from a couple of yards. It's still scoreless.

Salford close again, Hulme shot hits Hannis's crossbar. Salford are pressing again. 10 minutes to half time.

Unfortunate start to the second half for Ilkeston as keeper Hannis appeared to be barged causing him to drop the ball following a long throw into to penalty area. Lets hope we can steady the ship. Salford sensing victory now and beginning to dominate. Salford lead 1-0, 10 minutes into the second half.

LOCAL SUMMARY part one
Ilkeston’s youngsters predictably felt the backlash from a strong Salford team who were stung by a defeat at the New Manor Ground seven days earlier. Andy Mackay will be looking towards the game against Daventry in the Dootson Trophy on Monday as a chance for the Robins to get back to winning ways. Daventry have struggled in recent weeks to raise a team and Ilkeston should be strong favourite to win this tie.
Elsewhere in the League Blyth Spartans extended their lead at the ten points with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Colwyn Bay. Workington were surprisingly held to a draw at bottom placed Ramsbottom and Darlington were beaten 1-0 at fellow promotion hopefuls Stourbridge. Local rivals Matlock Town were beaten 2-0 by a resurgent Stamford who have now moved out of the relegation zone where as Mickleover Sports where without a game but drop to twentieth place.
In the Vanarama National league North Alfreton Town continued their god run of form with a fine 1-0 at AFC Fylde. Ex Robin Joe Doyle made his debut for Alfreton. Nuneaton beat Corby away from home 3-1 Ex Robin Tyrel Waite scored the opener and earned the third after being brought down for a penalty converted by Elliot Whitehouse. Corby included ex Robin Messiah MacDonald up front and Liam Marshall on the bench.
In the Evo Stik Division One South Belper lost at home top Basford United and Gresley lost 3-1 at Sheffield. Carlton are still fighting to move away from the drop zone despite losing 2-0 at Chasetown.
Heanor Town’s chances of catching phoenix club Hereford took a blow when they beaten 3-2 by Shepshed Dynamo and long Eaton continued to slip down the table after being beaten by second placed Alvechurch at home 0-2. At the bottom of the Midland league Premier Division Dunkirk look to be struggling second from bottom after losing at home 0-2 to AFC Wulfrunians.
