Excellent play by Jemson. Walker shot blocked. Nothing from Lye's attack so far. Malachi creates space but Sergeant saves his shot. 0-0 18 minutes

Again excellent defending by Jemson stops a Lye attack before it's started.. Malachi heads just wide of the post from Tom Marshall's free kick. Nearest yet for Ilkeston Marshall gets past keeper and pulls it back for Morris. Free kick by Tom Marshall brilliantly saved by Sergeant. Lye are hanging on. 0-0 29 minutes

Good battling by Dixon in midfield. Lye still haven't tested Mitchell. Good cross by Bennett but no one on the end of it.

Mitchell called into action at last to collect a cross. It's been all Ilkeston but they only have one goal . Free kick to Lye 25 yards out. Lawley shot deflected for a corner. Jason Wood's header following the corner is just too high but it's another corner.. There goes the half time whistle. Ilkeston 1 Lye Town 0.

What a turnaround by Lye who looked poor in the first half but devastating in the second.
