Ex Robins Glenn Kirkwood and Craig Hopkins have been appointed the new managers of Matlock Town. After four seasons at Mickleover Sports the duo resigned, after keeping the Derby based club in the Northern Premier League Premier Division in the last week of of an eventful season, to spend more time with their families. Two weeks later time with the families has lost its gloss and they have been lured back to management at Causeway Lane. The pair spent a number of seasons at Matlock as reserve team managers and for a short spell they were caretaker managers of the first team.
