Young Players Making the Breakthrough this year.

Who will be the young players to establish themselves this season?  In the past we have seen Che Adams, Ash Hunter, Akil Wright, Rai Simons and Rhys Dolan get moves to League clubs. The end of last season saw several Academy players get their chance in the first team and many of them grabbed their opportunity. This season the Club have brought in a few more experienced players and this makes it more difficult for the younger players to get into the team. However they still have a chance and if an opportunity occurs they know they will have to make the most of it. There will always be opportunities through injuries and suspensions. The two players coming through the Academy to establish themselves in this years team so far are Haydn Goddard and Luis Rose while several others are pressing claims.

Re: Young Players Making the Breakthrough this year.

Max Thornberry did really well when he replaced Jordan Wheatley last season. Another composed player is Ryan Head who I think will eventually make the grade.
