    Congratulations to Grantham on their 1-0 victory at Warrington. Also there were excellent wins for Coalville against Buxton (2-1) and Mickleover against Skelmersdale (3-1). Ashton and Blyth both showed why they are promotion favourites with emphatic wins whereas Workington slipped up at home to Barwell. Nantwich scored four without reply at Matlock who were reduced to 10 players when Laurie Wilson was sent off.  Spennymoor cruised past Sutton Coldfield 3-0. Stafford Rangers beat Frickley 3-2 in front of the day's biggest attendance of 560. Marine continued their bright start drawing with Rushall and Whitby won the other game against Corby with a second half penalty.

    My predicted results were rubbish. 4 correct out of 11 is very poor.  


    Michael Williams made his debut for Matlock. Did any Ilkeston supporters see the game?
