Myself and many others hope that sometime soon we will find out where the club stands in relation to the suspension placed on us by the Evostik League! There is nothing worse than not knowing anything at all. All being well the suspension will be lifted tomorrow and we will pay all outstanding debts the club will become transparent and we will have the usual roller coaster season. If the fans do not hear anything they will presume the club is doomed and it's the end. My worry is about the lease on the ground. I was led to believe that the lease is up next year (twenty five years after it opened). If the club did fold would the council keep the ground or like the Albion Centre would it be allowed to rot till B and Q bought the site.
Hopefully all my fears will be allayed and tomorrow is a new dawn!

I've just watched Paul Hollands interview on YouTube and yet again he has impressed me with his positive attitude in what must be a very difficult situation for him and his players. Whatever's happens in the future Paul Holland should always be remembered for his honesty and willingness to talk to the fans. He has suggested the he hosts a fans forum to speak to the fans and answer questions. A true gentleman!

Our next scheduled game is Tuesday night at home to Spennymoor Town. I would guess that a decision on whether the match goes ahead must be made on Monday morning at the latest. Let's hope the League don't prolong the agony.

There must come a point where the suspension will be lifted or whatever? Frustrating for everyone involved! At least we're unbeaten and have not conceded a goal a week into the season!

The league have announced that Ilkeston v Spennymoor is postponed .

So the League suspend us so that we can't play matches then find us guilty of not fulfilling fixtures.

The negative doom mongers on the other forum think it's all over but there's still time for a positive outcome.

It's a two man forum on here anyway so there are two of us hoping to watch some football this season!
