This weekends Fixtures

Sat 31st August 2019
                                                                     my prediction

Belper Town v Glossop North End                  home win
Carlton Town v Frickley Athletic                      home win
Chasetown v Ilkeston                                    away win
Cleethorpes T v Loughborough Dynamo        home win
Leek Town v Sutton Coldfield Town                 home win
Newcastle Town v Wisbech Town                   home win
Spalding Utd Market Drayton Town              home win
Stamford v Sheffield                                        home win
Stocksbridge P Steels v Lincoln United           draw
Worksop Town v Kidsgrove Athletic                 home win

The teams other than Ilkeston and Worksop have only played three league games so it's early days yet but the surprise team so far has to be Carlton Town with maximum points. They should keep that sequence going against Frickley who are pointless. 6th placed Belper with 2 wins and a draw should pick up another win against Glossop who have 3 points. Ilkeston will be hoping for a first away win at Chasetown who have won twice. Cleethorpes (7 points) v Loughborough Dynamo (6 points)  looks like being a close game. Cleethorpes with home advantage may just edge it. Leek have maximum points and face pointless Sutton Coldfield so they may top the table at 5 o'clock. Newcastle with 3 points are home to Wisbech who have no points and haven't yet scored a goal. 8th placed Spalding with 6 points will be expecting to beat pointless Market Drayton. League leaders Stamford are home to Sheffield who have 4 points. 5th placed Stocksbridge have 7 points and will want to add to their tally against Lincoln United but may have to settle for a point. Finally Worksop with 2 wins and 2 defeats should overcome pointless Kidsgrove.
