WALKER JOINS THE ROBINS ON LOAN
The club are delighted to announce Jamie Walker has joined The Club on a 3 month loan. Walker joins from Basford United and is available for selection this coming Saturday. Head Coach Mark Clifford said of the deal “I am very happy to have secured Jamie’s services. He can do a number of roles for the team and of course is no stranger to The NMG.” Everyone at The Club would like to welcome Jamie back and look forward to seeing him on Saturday.

That was a surprise to me. Jamie is a fans favourite at the NMG so glad to have him back. He's a unique sort of player with some special qualities as well as being a goalscorer.

Not sure why Jamie wanted to leave Ilkeston but obviously things haven't worked out for him at Basford where he's not had a lot of game time. Hope he can come back and carry on where he left off. But where will he play? We now have the excellent Ryan Campbell-Gordon as our attacking left back. Be interesting to see where Mark Clifford plays him.

Subs : 12 Fabian Smith, 13 Richard Stainsby, 14 Fernando Bell-Toxtle, 15 Mason Lee.
Our squad is now quite strong with real competition for places. I know where I would play Jamie.

our 2nd new signing is Kieran Fenton. (Ex Forest, Basford and Coalville ) Exciting times as good players are now wanting to be part of Ilkeston’s ambitions
