Today's Academy trials were well attended. I counted 36 players (two eleven a side teams with seven on each bench). Some came wearing Nottingham FC tracksuits. After a warm up session a match was played with changes made at half time. Mark Clifford took charge. There appeared to be some very decent players. For the small crowd of spectators it was freezing cold and it never stopped raining. 
The pitch looked in good condition considering the recent weather. There's another match on it tonight. Ilkeston Ladies  play Derby County Ladies, kickoff 7 30 pm.
