Coverage of tonight's Northern Premier League game will begin around 7 30pm with team news. I have been asked to update more regularly so I will try to do that with an update approximately every 5 minutes. So for the usual detailed updates and more of them this is the place to be. Ilkeston will be looking to capitalise on Saturday's win against league leaders Buxton That victory appears to confirm that this year's league looks like being very competitive with no side running away with it so far.

Ilkeston fans make themselves heard straight away. Brown makes his presence felt in the middle winning all the loose headers. No chances yet. Coleman wins first corner. Dwyer heads just wide. 5 minutes gone.

Good cross from Morris which Dwyer can't quite convert. Second corner for Ilkeston. Keeper gathers. Bright start by Ilkeston.

Morris looked to be fouled in the area but ref gives it other way. Shelton is making some strong runs. Durrant is untroubled so far. No score after 15 minutes

Anton Brown so close to opening the scoring on 16 minutes. Speculative Halesowen shot nearly catches Durrant out. Dwyer injured following strong challenge. Quite a long delay and Dwyer has to come off. Dwyer returns limping.

Durrant has to head clear as Halesowen exert a bit of pressure. Free kick for Halesowen on edge of area. Shot is blocked. 25 minutes gone still no score.

It's been even but Halesowen are ahead and now looking the more dangerous going forward. Ilkeston not creating scoring opportunities at present.

Shelton almost puts Dwyer through but keeper gathers. Ilkeston's good start has fizzled out somewhat as half time approaches. Half time 0-1.

Early chance for Halesowen but forward can't get enough direction to his header following wonderful cross. Anderson fires just wide for Halesowen. Ilkeston under pressure and struggling to respond. Its been all Halesowen in the first 10 minutes

Goal no.2 for Halesowen after 71 minutes. Ilkeston caught out by Halesowen break. It was an excellent finish that went in off the post.

Ilkeston almost got one back straight away but keeper denied them. Ilkeston are now having to push forward allowing Halesowen to hit them on the break. Good save by Durrant prevents Halesowen third.

Halesowen's Anderson goes off to warm applause. Ilkeston need a goal quickly but home keeper is catching everything. Scuffle develops at Ilkeston end but no action from ref. Foster was involved.

Only about 5 minutes left and Ilkeston don't look like scoring. They've been restricted to long hopeful balls forward

In my opinion we got what we deserved as we didn't play well enough. We bossed the opening 20 minutes but after that Halesowen were in charge. The Yeltz keeper made an incredible save from Anton Brown's header when Ilkeston were on top and if that had gone in things may have turned out differently. Halesowen striker Kaiman Anderson won the game for them with a header and a superb curling shot that went in off the post. Anthony Dwyer got a late consolation but it was a disappointing night after the good performance against Buxton.
