No doubt I've forgotten a few but here goes : 


When I first started watching in late 1950s / early sixties Ilkeston my favourite players were:

Terry Swinscoe    -  Centre half and was the penalty taker
Dave Baker          -  Full back and quite a character 
Ken Ledger          -  Old style winger  



More recently my favourites have been :

Fudge Parry        - Had the pleasure of playing with him when young. Naturally talented and far better than me. 
James Reid        -  Gifted footballer and the first player I sponsored
Montel Gibson    -  Another player I sponsored. Immensely skilled goalscorer
Kyle Dixon          -  Driven player who wants to win
Laurie Wilson     -  Great leader and captain
Garry Ricketts    -  powerful and skilful attacker
Will McCall         -  gifted winger
Sam Duncam     -  another gifted winger
Ben Pringle        -  went on to play in the Football League
Joe Maguire       -  superb defender who scored goals
Akil Wright          -  Classy defender who came through the academy
Matt Richards     -  Hugely skilful player
Kane Richards   -  speedy winger now with Basford
Che Adams        -  probably Ilkeston’s most well known and successful player now in Premier League
Ash Hunter         -  Came into the team when Che Adams left and now playing League football
Darren Caskey   -  Ex Spurs player and superb Ilkeston coach who showed his class when playing for Ilkeston
