Who would have been Champions : Leek or Stamford?

Who would have been Champions, Leek or Stamford ?

This is how the league ended on 14th March 2020:

Leek Town             P28  W23  D3  L2  F64  A19  GD +45  Pts  72
Stamford               P29  W22  D4  L3  F74  A27  GD +47  Pts  70

These were the remaining fixtures

Leek Town 10 matches:  (7 at home and 3 away)
      Belper (H)
      Chasetown  (H)
      Cleethorpes  (H)
      Glossop  (H)
      Newcastle  (H)
      Spalding  (H)
      Stocksbridge  (H)
      Loughborough D  (A)
      Sutton Coldfield  (A)
      Stamford  (A)

Stamford : 9 matches : (4 at home and 5 away)
      Belper  (H)
      Leek   (H)
     Loughborough D  (H)
      Market Drayton  (H)
      Belper  (A)
      Carlton  (A)
      Newcastle  (A)
      Sheffield  (A)
      Sutton Coldfield  (A)

With 19 matches between them still to be played it is quite possible that Stamford could catch Leek.

Realistically, Leek may have dropped points against Belper, Cleethorpes, Stocksbridge and Stamford.

On the other hand Stamford still had to play Belper twice, Carlton and Leek.

So if Leek had dropped 9 points against Belper, Cleethorpes and Stocksbridge and Stamford dropped six points against Belper and Carlton, then it could have all come down to when the two met each other. Stamford v Leek : what a final match decider that could have been with Leek two points ahead and Stamford needing to win to clinch the title.
