What a finish ! Much better second half from Ilkeston. Ilkeston fans behind goal are delighted. Chang of fortune at last.

Apologies for the brief loss of service at start of second half which included Corby's opener. Kenworthy's own goal was really unlucky. He was on the goal line and just couldn't get his feet out of the way when the ball hit him and trickled over the line to the delight of the massed Corby fans behind that goal. Ironically that was the signal for Ilkeston to spring into life. After a dull first half there were now chances at both ends. Ilkeston were generally on top but there was always a risk from Corby punishing them when breaking forward. The equaliser eventually came when Ilkeston were rightly awarded a penalty when Coleman was tripped. Coleman stepped up but his shot was pushed out by Corby keeper Aidan Grant. Coleman was quick to follow up though and made no mistake the second time. That was no more than Ilkeston deserved. After that both sides had their chances to win it but it was Ilkeston who finished the stronger and two minutes into added time a Ben Morris shot was deflected past Grant for the winner. Delighted for Ben; fortunate deflection maybe, but if you don't shoot you don't score. After three defeats it was a relief to win and the fans gave the players a rousing reception at full time. After the game the Corby keeper had to receive treatment in the dressing rooms from medics. Apparently he was having breathing difficulties. Best wishes to him for a speedy and complete recovery.
