    Subs : Head, Rose, Morris, Walters, Meakin.

    We're off. Ilkeston free kick in good position. Udoh gets header but its wide. First corner to Yeltz after 6 minutes.  Baker clears danger. Good run by Atkinson  but Udoh scuffs his shot. No score after 10 minutes.

    Early pressure is from Halesowen. Baker gets header on target but whistle goes for an infringement. Hannis makes his first save on 18 minutes.

    Nearly a chance for Ilkeston but lino's flag goes up. Hopeful penalty appeal by Halesowen but ref says no.  Powerful long range shot  saved by Hannis. Still scoreless after 25 minutes.

    Most of play is in midfield. Ilkeston forwards not making much headway. Neither side going close so far. 35 minutes gone

    Corner chance for Halesowen but header off target. Yeltz keeper has to race out to clear from Atkinson. Half time  no score.

    Second half is underway. Udoh shot forces good save by Halesowen keeper.That was Ilkeston's best effort so far. Hannis comes out to prevent goal at other end.  Good first 5 minutes.

    Halesowen's Charlton gets yellow for bringing down Atkinson. Halesowen coach spoken to by ref.  Hour gone still no goals.

    There have been lots of mistakes due to bobbly pitch. Meakin and Rose look set  to come  on. Melvyn gets yellow  after cynic al foul on Luke Shaw.

    Williams header just wide. Ryan Head was Wheatley's replacement. Wheatley on his way to hospital.

    5 minutes plus stoppages left. Udoh gets a shot in but it's saved. Good chance for Ilkeston but its fired over from close range.  Its finished 0-2. Not Ilkeston's finest performance. This was a winnable game.  The match ended with a farcical moment when the Yeltz keeper made out that Udoh had fouled him. Udoh was booked but then the ref booked the keeper.

    I thought the referee had an excellent game but he appeared to be tricked by the Halesowen keeper just before the end. This is how I saw the incident . Udoh went to challenge the keeper. The keeper went down as if Udoh had knocked him over. Udoh protested his innocence. The referee had blown for a foul but went over to his linesman for advice. I am reliably informed that the linesman said "Nothing happened". But the ref still decided to book Udoh.  Before the keeper took the free kick the ref decided to book him as well.
