Tuesday night we're back in league action at Spalding United. Due to our FA Cup run we're behind the other teams so we really need to pick up the points. There are eight matches on the night.

Love an away night match and can't wait for this one.
We're unbeaten after five matches (three in the FA Cup) so we're on a roll.
Spalding won this fixture last season by 1-0.
They've started well this season beating Sutton Coldfield and Carlton before losing to Loughborough Dynamo.

Loving this season and hoping for an emphatic win tonight.

The FA Cup run is great but the league is more important.

It's going to be tough to finish above teams like Stamford, Leek and Worksop so we can't afford too many slip-ups.

Games like tonight's match at Spalding need to be won.

The more we play the better we'll get. Let's keep this unbeaten run going.

You can't beat being there but If you are unable to travel, the next best thing is to follow the live match updates.

Going to be a really hard game again tonight . Spalding have beaten Sutton Coldfield who came good just before the lockdown . Plus they beat Carlton , so they will be up for it .

7 35pm and only just arrived at the ground. Due to late arrival, I'll give the Ilkeston team later.

Suffice to say Ilkeston are unchanged from Saturday. No team sheet so don't know the Spalding team

Not the best view - cant see two of the corners.

It's a wet surface and the Spalding keeper is first to slip. It's a steady start. Spalding back pass has keeper in trouble but he clears . GOAL Troke sets up Goodson and Ilkeston are ahead on 5 minutes 1-0

Durrant is seeing plenty of the ball as Spalding press. Good Ilkeston break but Goodson is stopped. Spalding 11 finds net but he's well offside. 1-0 41 minutes

I think we would be cruising had Marzano not been harshly sent off. As it is, we now have a battle. Even with ten players Ilkeston have had the better chances so far but it's all to play for in the second half.

Ross has to be careful. He's been booked for time wasting.
If we concede a goal early in the second half then we're in trouble. We need another goal.

Watson almost finds a way through. Two chances in quick succession for Spalding, one shot blocked then one wide. Fenton clears one off the line. Big effort by Spalding goes unrewarded. Goodson breaks and wins a corner. Goodson scores again 2-0 54 minutes

Fenton is a rock at the back. Ilkeston lucky as ball hits the post and goes for a corner. Zak is our outlet. Don't be surprised if he gets another. Spalding shot flies across Ilkeston goal. 2-0 64 minutes
