Belper Town to start Ground Improvements next week
WORK BEGINS ON NEW STAND AT THE RAYGAR STADIUM

Work will commence next week on the construction of a new cantilever spectator stand at the church end of the stadium
Designed to cover the existing terracing at that end of the stadium, the new stand will accommodate up to 200 spectators under cover.
Club chairman, Ian Woodward said of the project, "This is the next phase of our ambitious stadium development plans, following on from the fantastic 4G training facility that we opened just a few months ago.
"We are determined to create one the best non league stadiums in the area and the new spectator stand is another step on the way to achieving that.
"We start work on the removal of some of the external fencing next week, followed by preparing the foundations required for the construction of the stand."
Hopefully everything will have been completed within the next couple of months and certainly well in time for when we finally resume football activities at the stadium."

Wont take take long then ... nice and dry and great for the fans to make some noise . Not forget the match we played there when we were two nil down and playing crap . But a hat trick from Duffy {?} gave us a 2-3 win on a very wet day ...

Still talking of Belper and what great changes they are making , i often wondered how they went on with the ground when it floods which has done on occasions . As many of you know the clubhouse got flooded so they had to have a refurb and they`ve done a great job. But how do they go on with future floods , this is what i have read .... What a great job done by the club
