Barnsley Football Club can confirm that Keaton Ward has had his contract terminated by mutual consent.
The 20-year-old midfielder joined the Reds’ U23 set-up in July 2019 following a successful trial period and has since had loan spells with FC United of Manchester, Gainsborough Trinity and Ilkeston Town. Everyone at Oakwell would like to wish Keaton the very best of luck for the future.

Is Keaton Ward still with Ilkeston now that his loan is cancelled? We haven't seen him play yet !
He scored in the friendly win at Gainsborough.

well that`s a surprise . Makes you wonder why they terminated his contract . Of course that`s his loan spell with us finished i take it ?
