    CLUB STATEMENT  BY PAUL MULLINS   8 HOURS AGO

    See the below statement following last night's EGM.

    At Last night’s EGM, Mick Joiner stood down from his positions as Chairman and Chief Executive of Chasetown Football Club. Mick has served the football club for 55 years and will carry on doing so by accepting the roll of Honorary President for the club.

    We wish to place on record our thanks to Mick for everything he has done for Chasetown FC.

    The football club will now be run by a new board of directors headed up by main club sponsor Steve Jones as Chairman with his fellow directors Richard Lamb Chief Executive, Andrew Cox General Manager, John Franklin Secretary and Fred Butler as Finance Director. 

    A further announcement regarding the club will follow in the next few days.

    Interesting that the Club has been taken over by it's main sponsors.
