One year on from Lincoln United takeover

.
LINCOLN UNITED FC

ONE CLUB, ONE COMMUNITY    BY LAURA MCWILLIAMS   2 DAYS AGO

A year ago this week it was reported that Lincoln United Football Club were joining forces with Hykeham Town Football Club and what a year it's been... A new executive board were inducted into the club and whilst there have been some changes along the way and the odd addition, we wanted to look back at how far 'The Whites', one club, one community had come in the space of a year. Inheriting a club which had 'seen better days', Lincoln United Football Club wants to thank the fantastic community, volunteer workforce and sponsors that has ensured our club is in a strong and stable position in readiness for future seasons. Looking back at the changes to the club in the last 365 days...

7. Record number of club season tickets.

Whilst there hasn't been much football played, we can't wait to get back to playing, with the juniors and the men's development team having confirmed starting dates in the near future. A fast paced, ever changing 365 days but we've enjoyed every second and we can't wait to see you all back at Ashby Avenue again soon.

Finally, from all on Lincoln United's executive board, THANK-YOU for your support and making what seemed the impossible, possible. Here's to the return to football and the coming seasons ahead.
