News on the return of fans

.

Ollie Bayliss@Ollie_Bayliss  Government plans for a ‘Covid passport scheme’ will start to be trialled this month at pilot events. Ministers hope passes will allow a safe return to sports matches, conferences & night clubs. The FA Cup semi final & final are among scheduled pilots.  https://bbc.co.uk/news/uk-56625307

It’s now been confirmed that 4,000 fans will be able to attend Leicester v Southampton.
The FA has confirmed that the FA Semi Final on Sunday 18th April will be a fan test event.

Re: News on the return of fans

At present, May 17th is still the earliest start date for us, but 50% of NMG capacity will be allowed to watch.

Non-elite & professional sport will be allowed spectators in Step 3 of the roadmap (no earlier than 17th May).
Outdoor events will be limited to 4,000 people or 50% of the venue’s capacity (whichever is lower).
