This result appears much closer than it was! Spennymoor are a good footballing side who for spells in the second half dominated the game. Ilkeston took the lead through Morris and looked to be holding their own until the visitors equaliser after a defensive mix up between Durrant and Coleman allowed them a tap in. In the second half the Robins did not look dangerous until we went 3-1 down and we bought on Dwyer and Clarke. Rose' excellent goal ended up as just a consolation. Ilkeston were not overrun but just not quite good enough to get anything out of this game. The return of Brown and Foster can't come soon enough!
