Carlton get in early with sponsorship opportunities

.

Even allowing for their always optimistic media, Carlton are off to great early start with their sponsorship gains.

JUNE 17, 2021
FANTASTIC EARLY RESPONSE TO RECENT ANNOUNCEMENTS!

Carlton Town Chairman Mick Garton admitted to us today that the response he has had to recent Sponsorship opportunities was unprecedented and that in his 20 years at the helm, he had never felt so much goodwill towards the club. First of all Adrian Rawdon from On-Call recruitment Ltd as been in touch with the club and has agreed to sponsor the Merthyr Town friendly on Saturday 24th July , a massive thank you to Adrian and we look forward to hearing more about his company in due course. The player Sponsorship opportunities we put out this week have also created lots of interest and the following have already been sponsored.

Tommy Brookbanks – Charlie Clarke
Jack Steggles – Bob Sharp
Darryl Thomas – Spencer Construction
Lawrence Gorman – Spencer Consruction
Martin Ball – Jason and Jack Simpkins
Tyler Blake – Ash and Seb
Danny Elliot – B4 Painting
Jacob Sturgess – Get Solutions Ltd
Johnathon Mabonga – Get Solutons Ltd.

Chairman Mick Garton commented ” What a fantastic early response and I am absolutely delighted by the positives coming in on a daily basis , we still have some fantastic opportunities to sponsor some really big name players and these will go on a first come first served basis but to cover 9 off in two days is brilliant ”

“If anyone wants to sponsor any of the younger players coming up from the reserves/ Academy section as per the management list which was released this week, then that money will go into the reserves pot to help enable them to meet their running costs for the forthcoming season and hopefully continue to ensure the talent continues to come through”

” We are also looking for a Matchball sponsor for the Merthyr Town game, this game will have all the trappings of a league fixture with decent away support, a Dj on the decks and Match sponsors already in place”
“Sponsorship of the Matchball is only £60 and includes admission for 3 , half time hospitality, photographs and the chance to pick and present your very own man of the match”

“In the absence of a commercial manager at the moment, following Brian’s sad death, I am personally dealing with the sponsors and can be contacted at mick.garton@icloud.com and once again I would like to thank you all for your kind support ” concluded the Millers Chairman.

                                                                    *********************************

The Carlton website have said nothing about the Tommy Brookbanks Tournament for months now. Has it died a silent death?  It was highly anticipated by supporters as an end of 2020-21 season competition but it’s appeal seemed to diminish after it was pushed back to July. A pity after people had put in a lot of work to make it possible.
