The draw for the first 2 rounds of the FA Cup, FA Trophy, FA Vase & FA Youth Cup will be published on Friday 9th July 2021.
21 of the 158 Step 4 clubs will be required to play in the FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round on 7th August 2021.
If Ilkeston are one of them, the FA Cup tie will replace the planned home pre-season friendly against Coalville and will be our first competitive match. We are scheduled to play Forest at home in our last pre-season friendly on Tueday 10th August and the Northern Premier League season starts Saturday 14th August.

Quorns owner, chairman and general supremo will be very impressed with seeing us again. He has still not forgiven us for trying to sign Steve Hart a few years back! But hey ho! lifes too short to hold a grudge!

I think its based on their past record in the FA Cup and nothing to with them being the best team in our league over the last few years.
