Histon have provided a squad update ahead of their first season as Pitching In Northern Premier League club.

 Bernat Burguera, Babacar Camara, Marcus Cole, Sam Collison, Victory Garcia, Ediz Greengrass and Luke Lindsay have all joined the club.

Manager Lance Key said: “We’ve recruited seven new players during the summer, a summer which has proven very difficult considering the circumstances and the move further north. “It’s been a challenge and we’ve looked at over 20 trialists in pre-season, taking on these seven. They come with different levels of experience and different backgrounds. Some will make an impact straight away and some we will have to improve but it’s all part of the process. We know it’s not an easy task and that it will be an evolving squad for the start of what will be a challenging season ahead.  "We welcome them all on board and hope that they will develop and grow individually as we develop and grow as a squad. It’s a massive opportunity for these players to come to a club with the facilities, ambition and history we have so it’s an exciting time for them all as well as for us as we re-build and prepare for the season ahead in a new league.

"A number of the club's under-18s players have also been handed the opportunity to join the first-team squad ahead of the 2021/22 season.  Duo Kai Nicholls and Alex Stevens-Lee make the jump to the senior squad.
