Sat 5th Apr 2025 - Hebburn v Ilkeston - KO 3pm

Not sure what has happened at Hebburn but their results have fallen away in spectacular fashion. They were in the top six until January, now they're 13th and falling.

So what looked like a very tough match now looks like a more winnable one and it has to be a winnable match if we're to stay in touch with Stockton and Ashton.

Hebburn's home record is : P18, W7, D4, L7, F28, A27,  Points 25

Their last home win was New Year's Day against Workington.
They have failed to win any home games since then, losing to Morpeth, Worksop, Hyde, Leek and Guiseley and drawing with Macclesfield and Ashton.
The draws with Macclesfield and Ashton show that they are not always pushovers,

If we win at Hebburn and Ashton and Stockton drop points we're back in with a playoffs chance.
We can probably only afford to drop points in one of our remaining games. That's a big ask  especially as we have to go to Macclesfield.

Re: Sat 5th Apr 2025 - Hebburn v Ilkeston - KO 3pm

Hebburn were promoted at the end of last season as champions of NPL West division. They finished with  81 points, one point more than Stockton who were also promoted after winning the playoffs.

Hebburn are one of three teams in the Northern Premier League in the Newcastle area.
Morpeth and Blyth are north of Newcastle and Hebburn is south but still a long journey

Hebburn is a ground I've not been to, so really looking forward to this match.

We're on 58 points with 5 games remaining.
Another 12 points gives us a massive chance to make the playoffs. (4 wins needed)
Even 10 points could be enough. (3 wins and a draw needed)

Hebburn  (A)
FC United (H)
Macclesfield (A)
Matlock (H)
Bamber Bridge (A)

We definitely need 3 wins
