Not sure what has happened at Hebburn but their results have fallen away in spectacular fashion. They were in the top six until January, now they're 13th and falling.
So what looked like a very tough match now looks like a more winnable one and it has to be a winnable match if we're to stay in touch with Stockton and Ashton.
Hebburn's home record is : P18, W7, D4, L7, F28, A27, Points 25
Their last home win was New Year's Day against Workington.
They have failed to win any home games since then, losing to Morpeth, Worksop, Hyde, Leek and Guiseley and drawing with Macclesfield and Ashton.
The draws with Macclesfield and Ashton show that they are not always pushovers,

That's it John you put the kiss of death on it that they haven't won since NYD 😜

If we win at Hebburn and Ashton and Stockton drop points we're back in with a playoffs chance.
We can probably only afford to drop points in one of our remaining games. That's a big ask especially as we have to go to Macclesfield.

Hebburn were promoted at the end of last season as champions of NPL West division. They finished with 81 points, one point more than Stockton who were also promoted after winning the playoffs.
Hebburn are one of three teams in the Northern Premier League in the Newcastle area.
Morpeth and Blyth are north of Newcastle and Hebburn is south but still a long journey
Hebburn is a ground I've not been to, so really looking forward to this match.

We're on 58 points with 5 games remaining.
Another 12 points gives us a massive chance to make the playoffs. (4 wins needed)
Even 10 points could be enough. (3 wins and a draw needed)
Hebburn (A)
FC United (H)
Macclesfield (A)
Matlock (H)
Bamber Bridge (A)
We definitely need 3 wins

Let's have a good turnout of fans for our crucial match at Hebburn. It's a long journey but it's a ground most of us haven't been to and Deaks and the players really appreciate our away support.
A win keeps us in with a playoff chance.
If you haven't travelled on the supporters buses before, a great experience awaits you.
The supporters early bus leaves the ground at 9 15 am and stops somewhere in the Newcastle area (maybe Shields seafront) before the game for drinks and food, then takes you to the match arriving at the ground around 2 45pm. After the match the early coach leaves approximately 5 30pm. if these arrangements suit you then you are welcome to travel on the early bus.
Otherwise, you are more than welcome to travel with the team. The team bus leaves the ground at 10 am and goes straight to the ground arriving approx 1 30 - 2pm. After the game the team coach leaves a little later than the early bus due to waiting for the players to change and eat. (usually around 6pm)
Both coaches stop at motorway services on the way.
The cost of travel on either coach its £25 pp : please message Zane at IlkestonTown SG Away Travel Facebook page

NPL PREVIEW SAT 5TH APRIL 25. by JDG Media
Ilkeston don't get a mention
With five games to go, there's still plenty to play for at both ends of the Northern Premier League table.
In the fight to avoid the drop, Mickleover could be all-but-relegated this weekend, but only if they lose at home to FC United of Manchester and Whitby Town and Matlock Town win their respective games.
Whitby travel to Lancaster City, who will be playing for the first time under new boss Jimmy Marshall following his appointment on Thursday. Marshall takes over from Chris Willcock, who left the club at the beginning of March after just over a year in charge.
Matlock, meanwhile, welcome Morpeth Town to the Proctor Cars Stadium as they look to stay out of the bottom four.
Morpeth still have an outside chance of reaching the play-offs, but their hopes have diminished in recent weeks after a run of three games without a win.
Basford United, another who are in the relegation mix, host promotion hopefuls Ashton United. The Lions are currently third-bottom and five points from safety after a run of just one win in six, while their visitors current occupy the final play-off spot, despite claiming victory in just one of their last seven in the league.
Bamber Bridge come into the latest round of fixtures just three points above the drop zone, and they will hope to increase that advantage with victory away at Leek Town. Defeat for Leek could drag them right back into the survival fight, the Blues starting the weekend three points clear of their opponents.
Further up the division, champions Macclesfield continue their title parade with a home game against Workington. Robbie Savage's side will be looking for their eighth win in a row, against a Workington side that have suffered back-to-back defeats on the road.
Worksop Town could all-but-secure home advantage in the play-offs with victory away at Stockton Town. Having won their last nine in the league, the Tigers will search for a perfect 10 against fourth-placed Stockton, who have picked up 16 points from a possible 18 in recent weeks. Victory for Worksop, coupled with dropped points for Ashton at Basford, would be enough to mathematically confirm home advantage.
Third-placed Guiseley could take a step closer to securing their own top-five berth with three points away at Warrington Rylands. The Lions have won just one of their last five games on the road, while Neil Reynolds' Blues have endured a difficult season at home, winning just six of their 18 league games at the Hive Arena.
The final games of the weekend see Gainsborough Trinity host Prescot Cables and Hyde United welcome relegated Blyth Spartans to the Project Solar Stadium. Gainsborough and Prescot could strength their top-half position with a win in their encounter, although the play-offs will likely remain out of reach. The same can be said for Hyde, who are heavy favourites against a Spartans side currently under interim management following the resignation of Michael Connor

I'm in the stand and ready. It's a low view as there's only two rows of seats.
It's sunny but there's a cold wind making it feel quite baltic.
There don't seem tp be many spectators as we approach kickoff time.
The teams are out. Ilkeston in red. Hebburn in yellow and black.

Kirby-Moore nearly dispossesses Turner but the Hebburn defender recovers Dixon fouled when racing forward. Free kick by Stevens drifts out. At the other end, Yates has to race out and does well to block the shot.
